     Reorganized subrogation functions, consolidating seven subrogation offices covering nine states, into two regional offices. Direct supervision of a staff of 13 in two cities. Prior to corporate regionalization was Home Office technical advisor and consultant to 75 recovery adjusters in 26 field locations. Supervised claim reporting and subrogation collection, analyzed staffing needs, assisting field offices with interviewing job candidates, training, auditing open and closed files. Closed one redundant office. Prepared and analyzed statistical and financial management reports, wrote and published procedures manual, participated in budget planning and annual Business Plan preparation.

• Analyzed available automation software, and assisted in needs analysis and the development of proprietary on-line claims systems using FoxPro on a PC LAN
• Trained users of newly installed claims system to maximize productivity through "paperless" claim handling.
• Programmed management reports to extract data from claims system for risk management analysis, quality control, record keeping. Prior to development of claims system, designed FileMakerPro database on Macintosh for nationwide Subrogation statistical record keeping.
• Wrote and published Subrogation Manual establishing standardized technical procedures, techniques, forms, workflows, and a bimonthly Subrogation Newsletter. Drafted Liability Claims Manual.
• Initiated quality standards and administered open and closed file audits and performance appraisals Created standardized and automated form letters, reducing dictation/transcription time. Eliminated redundant paper forms by creating forms for the claims system. Automation, and more efficient procedures increased workable case load to enable reduction of Subrogation staff by 50%, a savings of $1,000,000 a year.
• Increased auto physical damage subrogation collections from $9,000,000 to $25,000,000 within three years. Participated on Quality Improvement Committee to reduce $5,000,000 annual loss from "unallocated" damage to auto fleet which resulted in 50% decrease of unallocated damage at test locations.
• Organized and led a three day workshop for 25 adjusters and supervisors. Created multimedia presentations and led training sessions.
